We've been proudly serving Vancouver since 1970 -that's over 40 years! We specialize in home-style Italian and Greek food. Come try our steaks or our famous pizzas, which are cooked in the old style using all-natural ingredients.
We can accomodate families and large groups, either in the day or in the evenings in our spacious dining room. We specialize in large parties such as birthdays, baptisms, anniversaries, retirement parties, and showers.
Location
We were located at 2411 Nanaimo Street, between 8th Avenue and Broadway, in the heart of East Vancouver.
Getting Here
You can park on the neighbourhood streets, or in our parking lot - it's a secure lot with 16 spaces. We're also just a 10 minute walk from Broadway Skytrain Station at Commercial Drive.

Our Story
In 1969 the Trocadero Pizza & Steak House opened its doors to the public as it started a legacy that has caught the attention of many people. The small takeout restaurant was sold in 1971 to Bill and Kyriakos (uncle-father). The two brothers took over a place with a great reputation for delivery and take-out, but that was just the beginning. The two brothers took over the space located beside the restaurant and expanded their business. Some of you I'm sure still remember the old place, red booths, brick archways, red carpet, wonderful oil paintings of bullfighters and beautiful women. Of-course how can you forget the private room where many of you spent countless memories with friends.
The two brothers sold the business in 1974 and opening two more Trocadero's, one on Kingsway and one on Canada way. The brothers eventually moved their own ways with Kyriakos moving back to Greece and Bill eventually taking over the famous Simpatico Restaurant on the west side.
In 1994, the two brothers took over Trocadero Restaurant once again and just 6 months later they started a major renovation on the place that changed the level and expectations for eastside restaurants. My father Kyriakos and uncle Bill have now opened another restaurant at the end of the Universe, making room for my siblings and myself Marino to continue the great legacy which they had started.
